On Friday, March 16, 2012, Lincoln’s senior class hosted the fourth annual Prom Expo, which showcased possible prom dresses and tuxedos. Not only did the Hornets present a fashion show, but there were also vendors there to advertise their products for prom.

Ms. Nevin, Lincoln High School’s orchestra teacher, accepted a position with the Sweetwater School District this past October at the Chula Vista School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA). While faculty and students were not very happy about the announcement, it is a great opportunity for her to move up in the field of music.

Although the “Go” cheer has not changed, Lincoln Cheer has undergone a lot of changes this school year. With a new athletic director, cheer adviser, coach, and cheerleaders, everything has changed, aside from some traditional cheer chants.

The Freshman Class is Official

Class of 2015 is official. They have established a freshman cabinet to represent their class. A.S.B., is in charge of raising funds for their peers as well as organizing events such as pep rallies, dances, blood drives, publicity, food fairs and fundraisers for the student body. Each class has their own ASB representatives and the freshman ones where elected back in September.
